The Bill (Reg. No.2570) envisages ratification of the National Program on Implementation of The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child in order to secure efficient functioning of the integral system of legal and social protection of young generation in Ukraine.
The People´s Deputies stated that the goals of the National Program will be implemented in the following sectors: public health, education, protection of children of different groups, cultural and spiritual development, and international cooperation for the sake of children.
Pursuant to the Bill, improvement of rehabilitation of homeless and neglected children, and their families is one of the priority tasks of protection of children of different groups.
Taking into account importance of the Bill for provision of children´s rights, the Committee recommends that The Verkhovna Rada adopts the Bill as a basis.
